The Tourette Tics and Anxiety Society of Mississippi, weāre embracing May as Mental Health Awareness Month with open arms, open minds, and open hearts.
Tourette syndrome and anxiety disorders often walk hand-in-hand, impacting not just individuals but entire families. Thatās why our mission is to create a safe, supportive space where people can connect, learn, and grow.
This month, we encourage everyone to:
š¬ Start a conversation ā Break the stigma by sharing your story or simply listening.
š Educate yourself and others ā Knowledge is power. The more we understand, the more compassion we can offer.
š¤ Get involved ā Whether it's joining a support group, attending a TTASMS event, or volunteering, every action helps.
We also want to remind our community that you are not alone. Whether you're a parent of a child newly diagnosed with Tourette syndrome or someone living with anxiety day-to-day, we're here for you.
š Stay connected with us and leave your contact info to stay updated.
Letās continue to spread awareness, foster understanding, and support one anotherāthis May and every month. š
